When the first psychic knot (Brahma Granthi) opens, tremendous amount of energy is released, you feel more alive, you want to make love, suddenly you find you have so many things to do in life, you feel alive.
After this stage, you enter in dark night of the soul where the difficulties arises as ego is dissolving here you need a master. Once you enter in dark night of the soul, going out is very difficult. If you cross this, new life is waiting for you and that's your new birth.
When the second psychic knot (Vishnu Granthi) opens, you realize the love and become compassionate towards whole existence. You are in love with the whole cosmos.
When the Third psychic knot (Rudra Granthi) opens, you realize the non-dual nature of yours. The kama is destroyed and third eye is opened. For the first time, you can see beyond duality, and your ability to see life in a different dimension is also opened.
Whenever something you are losing, something making you depressed dark night of the soul prevails or you enter in dark night unknowingly. Another one is post opening of first two chakras when journey for 3rd chakra started, then dark night starts.
Basically a war between ego and heart, the ego doesn't want to lose and heart wants to prevail so basically a war between ego and heart comes into the picture. If ego prevails you feel like hell, you feel like lost, you don't feel like doing anything, all motivation to breathe even is lost because every moment is so hard, feels so brutal. If heart prevails and win you become a totally new person, the most happiest one of this world.
During dark night only 2 things help, one is your master, guide or mentor and another thing is trust. Trust on whom? Trust on existence that I can cross this, this too will come to the end.
The trust is the solution, and things will be Good.
People come and go; only you are there with you.
